Planned and unplanned refinery issues are simultaneously tightening Middle East supplies, providing support to gasoline cracks in Asia.
That includes issues at Aramco's 85,000 bpd reformer at its Jizan plant, alongside reports of declining gasoline inventories in Iran.
As a result, analysts at FGE see Middle Eastern export availability declining from 250,000 bpd in August to around 150,000 bpd in October. "On the back of heavy turnarounds, the gasoline complex East of Suez should see some support," it said Friday.
"Key wild cards that could influence Asia's export availability include China's third batch of product export quotas, as well as how India responds to developments at the Alaska summit this weekend," FGE added.
